Building and rooms were somewhat run down and were in process of being upgraded. Beds were clean and comfy. Some bathrooms have been updated by someone without much experience or attention to detail. Shower did not work very well. However, the rates were cheap and manager went out of his way to accommodate a third adult in a second room at a reduced rate. The restaurant is a favourite for locals to gather over a coffee. Breakfast was standard fare for reasonable price. A quirky, but enjoyable stay if you don't have too high expectations.

The fries were delicious and crispy, and so was the gravy. The food was charged separately for each item, so for $35 we didn't get very much value. The place was stained and the bathrooms were dirty. The whole place sort of looked like it was falling apart. Our dipping sauce was rotten and the coffee was watery. The waitress' fingernails were dirty and she had her fingers all over my cutlery when she placed it in front of me. I had a BLT and I couldn't finish it because the tomatoes tasted fishy. I would only get the fries and gravy if you're eating here.

I was here yesterday and spent a night. View was very good. The food was also to my taste. And Jules is sooooooo kind. I hope here is full of happiness. God bless you!

I ordered the bacon cheese burger with fries, Wow, bacon was super good and thick hanging out the sides, really good burger! Fries are great as well, but it was the burger that will get me back! Thanks

Been coming to this location for over the last 10 months, the owners and staff are amazing , yes it isn’t the Hilton but is very clean, and the food I have no complaints. If you’re looking for a great breakfast I would choose the hungry man.... it fills the gap for sure and there is plenty of it to eat. I checked all of the near by places to stay and this is your best bang for your buck by far. For all the negative ratings on here, if you want a higher end hotel , go to Brandon, but if you want a place to rest, friendly people and clean I would recommend this place to anyone.
