Pet Parlour

I don't normally leave public reviews like this but I want to share my experience for others to be aware. They agreed to take both of our golden doodles for grooming at the same time, we even offered to bring them in separately and they said no it was fine, and that it would take 3-4 hours. Every time they would keep them for at least 6-7 hours. I'd have to call numerous times to ask when they'd be done. When we finally picked them up last time we were told that our youngest puppy had an accident and pooped on the grooming table. We apologized and thought it was probably because she was stressed out. Both of our dogs had to pee and use the bathroom immediately after we left, and were also so thirsty when we got home. While talking to Victor the owner, we just recently found out that they don't take any dogs that they groom outside to use the bathroom at all, even for a whole 6 or 7 hours while they're in their care! This is the bare minimum that they should be doing for any pet, especially when it's their fault for taking so long to finish our dogs (overbooking).. They also told us that if we want them to take our dogs out to use the bathroom while they're getting groomed that we'd need to pay an additional fee for doggy daycare too.. Obviously the reason this business takes so long to groom dogs is because they're over booking themselves in grooming and doggy day care to make as much money as possible at the expense of your dog needing to sit there and wait for so long to be done. It should never take 6-7 hours to groom two dogs back to back.. Our dogs were in their care and they decided not to let them use the bathroom for such a long time. No wonder they had an accident! I personally would never trust this business with my dogs again. Just look out for the red flags. Our dogs always came home very stressed out and I just thought it was the grooming process, but now I know that they couldn't even use the bathroom for that whole time they were there. I wish I stopped taking them here a long time ago.

Pet Parlour is great and we feel very comfortable dropping our bulldog off with Victor and his staff. Always accommodating, friendly, and a job well done. From grooming to daycare this is a well-run and caring establishment. Thanks for taking such good care of Hazel!
