DOGTOWN by DOG TAXI

Dog Town was extremely accommodating with me as I left my dog here for one day of doggie daycare from out of town Calgary. The staff from the beginning were extremely friendly and professional. We called a few weeks in advance to book one day, and they mentioned to me that they normally only do multiple day packages for dog daycare but would make an exception. I was quoted ‘approximately’ $40-$50 for the day of day care for my dog, but I ended up getting charged $70 when I paid. I mentioned I was quoted much less when I was charged and they didn’t seem willing to negotiate the price even though I was quoted about $20 less. The place was clean and all the staff I encountered were professional and friendly. Would have given 5 stars if I was charged what I was quoted on the phone. Overall a great place, very central, and I hope to bring my dog here again one day.

This is the only place we feel we can leave our dog safely. They love her to death, and are always so friendly and community-oriented. 100% recommend!

My dog died in their care!!! Two summers ago we brought our Golden Doodle to Dog TAXI, now DOGTOWN by DOG TAXI, and that was the last time we would see him alive. We received a call mid-day from them saying that they had just dropped him off at the emergency hospital because he collapsed. The emergency veterinarian said he had passed away some time ago and recommended us taking him for a necropsy as the owners from Dog TAXI kept changing their story on what happened. The necropsy showed he had died due to heatstroke. Basically, they left him in such a hot place that he died. That's the care my dog received. My recommendation, DO NOT take your pet to DOGTOWN by DOG TAXI. Now, why post this after such a long time? We received a text from DOGTOWN by DOG TAXI wishing our dog, that died in their care, a happy birthday? Was this message to spite us for seeking charges against them and remind us that they took him away from us? Nothing can bring him back but I hope this review will save a pet!

My dog drags me here every time, he loves it so much. And when he comes home he just sleeps all night, which is perfect. Everyone there is super friendly and they seem to really love dogs. Lots of room for them and a little park outside for them as well, I highly recommend this place.
