Main Aquarium

Absolutely cruel. I have never seen fish kept in such horrible conditions. No animal should be kept in such gross dirty water. Many of the fish looked sick. I left the store nearly in tears. A sign in the store said "no photos" which I imagine is to prevent people from sharing evidence of how poorly these fish are being treated. The employee behind the counter seemed totally disinterested in his job. PLEASE do NOT support this business! There are places that are far more ethical, like Aquariums West which I visited earlier today. You are much more likely to end up with a healthy fish if you buy it from a store that takes proper care of their animals.

Helpful service. Reasonable prices. Good staff. Quick purchase was easy. Good social distancing. Helpful for me being new to buying fish tanks and rocks. All fish were happy in store and it was super clean including the tanks. :)

The staff are very impatient and unwilling to answer your questions. They are just wanting to sell and shove you out of the store as fast as they can. They sold my girlfriend angelfish and goldfish and said they’re compatible together. That is absolutely not true and their zero return no refund policy is bogus. Overpriced items too. Save yourself the time and avoid this place. Oh, and let’s not forget how poor the conditions are for the fish. The owners clearly don’t care. I’ve come here on a few occasions to find dead fish floating or sitting in their cups. Truly sad.

Bought a pair of koi here. Went home and just before we put in aquarium, one of the fish is showing weakness( which I thought might be from travelling). The next day, fish died and contacted store with proof of image, guy said that there is no warranty for fish. Was very disappointed. Please dont waste your time here. Ive always bought fish here but will support a different local fish store.

My partner and I are starting an aquarium as we told the person helping us. This place had a selection which was nice during covid as everywhere else etc pet smart had none. Of course my partner kept asking simple questions like if the fish is a "schooling" fish so we would buy more... and the person working (honestly, was pretty rude and made it feel uncomfortable in the store as he had an aura of annoyance.... ), kept saying "only the tetra fish are schooling". Well, we bought TWO tiger barbs... not knowing they were schooling and semi-aggressive (even tho we have asked if they were schooling, and I would think a professional would warn two newbies that this fish was semi-aggressive) ... and two "rummy nose" (written on a label), that we didn't know was actually called "rummy nose TETRA".... as the place had no proper labels with names and or prices on the tanks... I had to search on goggle "green freshwater aquarium fish" to figure out that we had green tiger barbs. Anyways, one of the rummy nose has already passed away. It has been one day and the two barbs are still chasing one of our guppy's which im afraid will be stressed out and die soon if we don't get more of the same fishes to balance the aquarium out! Anyways.... just had a very bad experience here...
