Should be ashamed how they treat human beings. You wonder why we are hesitant to trust you all. Better training for your officers. The complaint commissioner has it in his court now.

Avoid VPD or Vancouver as a whole if you don‘t want to get trapped into their shady VI cash grab tactic even if you are innocent and drive a stock & unmodified vehicle. There is simply no way to avoid or dispute it.

VPD traffic officers don't need any reason at all to issue Vehicle Inspections. Something looks or sounds different and boom here's a VI even when presented actual MVA evidence of their misunderstanding and fishing and unfairly interpreting the acts. No you can't dispute a VI and yes you have to pay for it. No you won't be reimbursed even if you pass. No you can't insure your vehicle if you don't get the inspection done. This type of harassment and abuse is sickening. Many stock, unmodified vehicles are now being issued VI's meaning an escalation of the matter. Lawsuits are coming.
