Shores Inn & Hotel

Rooms are ok, nothing special and not very fancy by any means. They're very old with paint peeling off the walls, a TV from the 90's and brick walls. One massive problem we ran into was noticing that our mattress was literally placed upside down so we were sleeping on the springs. And no, I definitely did not flip the mattress to find out why. One benefit is if you're arriving in a vehicle you can literally park directly in front of your room which is a huge bonus and very convenient. It is also pet friendly which is why we picked this hotel, and there is a spot for them to relieve themselves just across the parking lot. Would only stay here again out of absolute necessity.

We were unfortunately unable to stay due to a last minute situation and the staff were very understanding and helpful, offering a full refund despite the short notice. We hope to visit again next season.

Booked two nights, ended up only staying one and will not return. The room was dirty (floors, baseboards, doors). It had a bad smell. Beds are hard. The fridge was broken, light fixtures broken and some lights didn't work. Advertised kitchenette, but there was hardly anything in it. No coffee maker or coffee, no kettle. Hardly any complimentary toiletries. We did not bring our own, as we expected to use the ones provided. I have never stayed at a hotel that didn't. When we decided to leave after the first nights stay and went to let the front desk know that we were leaving and why, there was no one there. Sign on the door said no one was around until 2pm. Very disappointing!
