Hôtel Shediac

I went to Hotel Shediac with my boyfriend and a couple friends to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. I looked up reviews of all the hotels in the area and this one was by far the best rated. The hotel looked beautiful but unfortunately that’s the only good thing I have to say about it. The hot tub was closed and the pool was freezing which wasn’t terrible but would’ve been nice to know before booking. As the night went on, I got a call from the front desk accusing us of smoking in the room, saying they had been getting calls all night from other rooms complaining about us. I can assure you we were NOT smoking in the room—we weren’t even at the hotel for most of the night. Natalia, the woman at the front desk continued to accuse us after I assured her we were not. She was very rude the entire conversation and threatened us with a fee. The next morning, we noticed the people in the room next to us were smoking on their balcony. I’m not sure if it was an honest mistake or if they assumed it was us because we are in our 20’s. Either way, it was completely unprofessional and I was very upset with the service. I didn’t even get an apology. I recommend not staying at Hotel Shediac.

Nicest hotel so far, the lady loved the tub, and the big windows for amazing lighting. Would have been better if only the honeymoons suits had the view of Shediac bay, and not the Government building.

Although the aesthetics of the hotel are quite nice and modern, our stay there was utterly disappointing. The pillowcases had makeup stains on them, the washroom had not been cleaned properly, all the towels were old and frayed, and there was a lack of hot water (the bare minimum that I expect from any hotel). What made matters worse was that the staff was very dismissive of how dissatisfied we were. There were issues with the amounts charged to our credit card and communication with management left much to be desired ("they were on vacation" during our stay and several days thereafter). Hotel Shediac: in case you forgot, you are in the HOSPITALITY BUSINESS. Perhaps you should conduct your business accordingly.

Great Hotel to stay. They even checked us in early without hesitation. Staff is very friendly. Beautiful room with nice balcony. Better luxury then most of the brand names

Really nice hotel & restaurant , problem is the management is quite poor. They lost one of our reservations,so they had to compliment our stay at the lovely Madison Tait, so that’s a plus. Stayed here one night and it’s quiet and clean...that is if they can find your reservation.
