We had a fiasco with my 14k white gold engagement ring 14 years ago that was purchased from a franchised store in the mall. Within 1 year my new ring looked just horrible with the white gold pretty much gone and now turning yellow. The franchised store told me I’d have to rhodo-plate my ring every year to keep it looking white! We went to Creative Goldsmith in Langley, and the lady knew how upset I was with my shabby engagement ring, and I loved one of their wedding bands. She told me if I trusted her, she’d fix my engagement ring and make it so it would match my new wedding band. I did it, I didn’t even know what it would look like. Two weeks later I was so thrilled with my re-made 14k white engagement ring. It was heavy too! 14 years later my rings still look new! I still deal with Creative Goldsmith and I live in the Okanagan.
