Tisol used to be my go to place for pet food, making the trip in from Aldergrove, primarily for case lot purchases because they had always had more stock than some of the smaller local chain stores, but I have noticed the decline and availability on their stock in some instances, and no longer leaving it a one stop shop place. But what really gets the one star is the level of service lately. I think they sincerely need to review their hiring policies or at least customer service training. I went in on a recent Sunday morning, and pretty sure I was the only customer in the store at that moment... and nothing. Not a single can I help you. And then as the cashier proceeded to scan my purchase, you know how they usually like pick up a can or bag as they scan it, organize it, bag it for you, you know remember the good lo' days? maybe I am just being nostalgic? But this person literally scanned the cans where they sat and left everything strewn all over the counter as I put it down. And then I had to ask for a bag please to pack up some of my loose items... seriously? You know the first time one might think poor service is a one off, but strike three and you are out. Also a note worth mention... this store wins the prize for most receipts returned for missed discounts, sale prices or even incorrect pricing. So much so that checking my receipt as I load my car has become automatic here. Too many times I got all the way home to find out I had errors on my receipt. And I mean who wants to have to come in two weeks later and be a Karen, so typically you just eat the loss. Sorry but frustration has developed into a bad review

Love the products at Tisol but they just don't have very good customer service a bit more customer service training should happen.

Great knowledgeable staff. The staff smile, remember you and your dog, and honestly seem to enjoy working there, which means fantastic customer service. They are always willing to help, answer questions, fit your dog with whatever your pet requires, and will even carry things to your car if you need it. The store is well stocked with all your dog and cat needs, at reasonable prices, usual less than any of the other pet stores. The store is large, clean, well laid out, and easily maneuverable for your pet and others. Another bonus is that the Langley Tisol is open 7 days a week, and is open late every weeknight, which is great for the non 9 to 5 worker. It is my go to pet supply store, and I would never shop anywhere else.
