They make you responsible for what others claim you said, but did not say. No benefit of the doubt,. No talking to the accused about what happened, and a complete disregard to integrity, or children..(searching for the truth) Im beginning to see why US police officers are losing respect for these RCMP officers. We need police without doubt, but what we don't need are public pimps for child beaters. I wouldn't join this group for any money, not worth it, i have more integrity then that. We need new standards, and for gods sake make kids number 1, not child beaters/abusers. no thanks to officer Philip Coulter of the Langley detachment,. Its funny how their past reviews were erased, i wonder if its because the reviews were so low.?

They were very gentle when they handcuffed me and their patrol vehicles are incredibly roomy. Overall, very professional. Will get arrested by them again for sure.

The following is from BC Government: Distractions While Driving - Cell Phones and Other Devices Activities that impact a driver’s ability to focus on the road come in a wide range of forms, from visual distractions inside and outside the vehicle, to cognitive distractions when using electronic devices. In fact, research indicates that drivers fail to process approximately 50 per cent of the visual information in their driving environment when they are using electronic communication devices. While texting on a communications device is often recognized as the riskiest behaviour, distractions such as seeking for preferred music or attending to personal grooming can significantly divert a driver’s attention. Research has also concluded that telephone conversations are much more distracting than in-vehicle conversations – perhaps because passengers can observe the road, provide warning, adjust conversation tone according to traffic conditions, and the like – while telephone conversations contain fewer pauses and demand greater cognitive resources. Research evidence has shown that approximately one-quarter of crashes can be attributed to driver distraction: attention being diverted from driving tasks. This can result in significant costs to society, such as: tragic loss of life, serious injuries, health expenses, property damage and insurance rates. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment: In Canada, the rich are getting richer, and the poor are getting poorer. Looks like the Canadian Privileged, the rich and the powerful, "The Royal Representatives" want more money again for their high government salaries and luxurious living while the rest of us can hardly pay rent! The above research is a FRAUD! I have seen RCMP officers using cellular phones while driving, transit bus drivers punching in their electronic devices while driving, etc. Where is the evidence that using electronic devices causes more accidents? People who cannot control their attention focus will get into accidents even without using electronic devices while driving, for example, watching a hot man or a hot woman walking by the street; looking for addresses, street names, etc. which are way, way more distracting! THIS IS A UNCONSTITUTIONAL LAW THAT CANNOT BE BACKED UP BY EVIDENCE. WELL, THE RICH AND THE POWERFUL WITH HIGH GOVERNMENT SALARIES NEED MORE MONEY TO MAINTAIN THEIR LUXURIOUS LIFE STYLES WHILE THE REST OF US CANNOT EVEN PAY RENT, AND OUR CHILDREN ARE HUNGRY! The real reason for ICBC to lose money is due to the fact that luxury cars driven by the Privileged have a very LOW insurance cost per car's value in comparison to the common vehicles driven by the working poor. The Privileged do NOT want to pay their share. Therefore, if the government has a loss, then the working poor pay for the Privileged by higher insurance costs and frivolous fines. The RCMP is just an armed force to protect the Privileged. Therefore, they do NOT follow the Charter. Anything that protects the public's interests, the government does NOT follow!
