Over the last 10 years I have had countless Police interactions as both a witness to and participant in, incidents requiring Police intervention. NPD continues to build a team of quality and experienced professionals. I continue to be impressed by their first contact approach and compassion and understanding for mental illness. We are very lucky to have this department.

My experience with the Nelson Police department has been a very positive one. Whenever I witness something that requires attention they always arrive in a timely fashion and their delivery is excellent. Such a fresh breath of air witnessing law enforcement taking their jobs very seriously, in a non-threatening easy to approach way. Our community is very fortunate to have such a great group of people working for us. Keep up the fantastic work!

Amazing place to stay for the night! Had the room to myself other customers were a little noisy though. Staff were pleasant and accommodating. Make sure to request a room with a window for entertainment as the rooms do not come with a TV. Overall good experience would definitely stay here again

The turndown service is terrible, and the mints they leave on my pillow are stale.
