This is indeed a lovely place. A farm with a friendly atmosphere.the owner is so kind and informative. If you need any activities that need to be booked please go to her... she will find you places and time to do them with a good deal.you get fresh milk, if you want. This place is so down to earth... you will connect to nature and humble life. There are lots of hiking trails around. It's awesome! The night weather gets as low as 60°F... so if you are someone who gets cold easily,I would advice you bring your own portable heater. But don't worry the rooms have lots of blankets. This is a luxury camping with roof and bed. I love this place and will come here again when I am in CR. Compared to other lodges or cabins, their cabins do have Internet and clean cabins too.

I worked at Terra Viva 20 years ago. Coming back to this place is amazing. You can see the effort and dedication that have made it what it is today. A blue flag that sums up part of how much work has been done to achieve harmony with the environment. Solar panels, recycling, use of natural light ... Visiting was the only thing I needed to fall in love with the project and be part of the team again. In a word: LOVELY

Our vacations would not have been the same without that experience at Terra Viva. A dairy farm with little cabins distributed within the mountain. Thais helped us organize our activities and recommended the best restaurants for dinner. The kitchen is very well equipped and my family and I are waiting to return on our next vacation. The internet is great, a lot of security in the area and fresh air from the heart of the cloud forest.

We were hosted in this wonderful place. The experience was extraordinary. Thais attention was great. WiFi worked perfectly, private parking, total privacy, plenty of hot water. We needed a break and there we found it. There is no doubt that we will be back.
