Great place to tour & spend a few hours. Have been many times and each time it gets better. The tour was informative, very interactive. Tour ends with a tasting and the view is stunning and tasted delicious. Our tour guide was great!!! Loved it!!!

Nice place, very friendly, and they produce and sell multiple spices as well as vanilla. This is an excellent source of vanilla if you live in CR but their prices are high enough that similar quality vanilla can be purchased in my home country for similar prices... whereas for example buying coffee in CR can't be beat...

Yesterday, Chris, the tour guide for magnificent Villa Vanilla Spice farm, took me and a group of others on a magical adventure filled with rich plant life and indescribable beauty. Every turn on the path to the overlook where this photo was taken is filled with colorful surprises, exciting spice tastings and interesting plants. If you are planning a trip to Manual Antonio, do not miss this opportunity to take a tour with Chris, the most articulate and informed tour guide I have ever met 😃

Really nice place. The vanilla is just a cherry on top. There are a lot of spices that you can smell and taste (GL during the contest). The walkabout is nice, fun and you can learn a lot. You get to taste organic desserts, enjoying a really nice view. They care about nature, everything is organic and bio, big part of plantation was restored to rainforest as it was many years ago. And the cocoa also ;)

This tour & tasting was so awesome!!! My mom and I drove from Jaco on our vacation and it was well worth the drive! Our tour guide was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Tasting and smelling all of the spices and learning about the variety of plants was really cool. The baked goods we were served while overlooking the rain forest was one of my favorite parts. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who is interested in sustainable farming, enjoys cooking, or enjoys eating and wants to know where their spices are coming from! I’m so excited to use the spices and vanilla beans I purchased from their spice store. Thank you Villa Vanilla!
