Nice during the morning but unadvisable at night. Open. Nice for sports. And family get together in San José.

One of the biggest public parks in San Jose, it boasts great grassy areas, a playground and also a basketball court. Coconut vendors frequent the NE corner and you will find a taxi stop on the eastern side right on the boulevard. You will also find several nice spots for a quick bite or drink surrounding it, including a couple of Chinese restaurants, a fried chicken joint, hamburger spots and also a small Mexican restaurant!. Great place to walk your dogs or just enjoy air on a nice afternoon playing Frisbee or football. Becomes less safe at night due to local hoodlums.
