A very interesting research center. I recomend doing a guided tour. We were guided by Edgar who had vast knowledge on what Catie doing worldwide on the preservation of many important plants, fruits, grains and different types of trees. It's a place not to be missed if you are in Turrialba.

Very interesting. Lots of botanical information from experts. Great way to familiarize yourself with local fruits, trees and animal population.

You can see and learn about such a variety of plants if you take a guided tour.

Interesting collection of tropical plants. There are also many birds around, especially at the lake.
