Česká spořitelna BREACH OF PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA AND THEIR ABUSE TO THEIR OTHER BENEFIT Truly horror and disappointment. Unfortunately, I suspected that one of Česká spořitelna's employees was unauthorisedly viewing (perhaps still viewing) my personal account, my transactions, monitoring my financial situation. This suspicion was confirmed to me in writing by the Czechoslovak ombudsman in a letter with an apology and information that they had drawn consequences from this mistake. As the employee uses the information obtained against me, to which she should not have had access, in the court proceedings I am conducting with her, Česká spořitelna put me in a very unfavorable position. I contacted my legal representative and, according to his advice, answered the ČS ombudsman with questions about what measures had been taken to prevent a similar situation from occurring, how the employee was punished and how ČS intends to compensate me. The answer was "Dear Mrs. Riedel, we consider this situation to be internal and closed, best regards ...". Nothing more, nothing less. Česká spořitelna also refused to resolve this mistake with me, refused to compensate me, and the employee, who viewed my privacy without authorization, continues to work cheerfully at Česká spořitelna. I am very sorry for this whole event, of course (unfortunately) I am forced to go to another bank with my whole family and my friends, who also have accounts with ČS. I try to continue to solve the whole thing, probably unfortunately only in Austria at Erste bank. I think that this step was not fair at all from Česká Spořitelna, and no one would be pleased to know that ČS employees can in this way view every client's privacy without penalty.
