I’m an expat leaving in Prague. In order to open a bank account I was asked to bring with me several document, including an employment contract. In addition they asked me to bring a specific document showing that I was actually working there as the contract was signed in the begging of the year. Not much support. Unreasonable time spent there. Compared to CSOB bank, it is nothing. In ČSOB they offered me privet banker, they asked for less documents. Better service. Just across the street.

Have exchanged U.S dollars for Czech Crowns on several occasions and received within less than 1% of what I anticipated. Excellent. Good service with great attempts at speaking English. Showed me on paper everything having to do with transaction before making exchange. Can't ask for more than that. I try to never use bank cards of any kind while traveling, although I do carry one debit and one credit card for emergencies. My opinion.... excellent bank.

They never can solve anything, huge load of time every time I need something to get done. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK!!!! Service is horrible
