The staff, I thought were nice until what came after my account-closing visit......... it was the start of absolute NIGHTMARES. My story is extremely long (lasted for almost a year). In brief, the UniCredit bank must have had a system error and claimed that I owe them money which I don't. Plus, they used my account without my authorisation to trick me into paying them 116 euros, which I identified and email back (I have email proof). But this was not the end of the story! So a summary of what happened: I closed my account in the end of Feb, but afterwards there were 'activities' in my account which I didn't know of. Then I got an email saying that I owe the bank 116 euros which I didn't (my balance was 0 when I closed the account). Then I emailed back saying that there might have been a scheme / hacker using my account. Then the bank emailed back saying it was some delayed payment which I made in early Feb - the problem is, none of the transactions they indicated were successful, as they had blocked my card those days. Then, in March, UniCredit emailed me again saying that they made a mistake and that I owed them 61 instead of 116. I emailed back saying how ridiculous it was because the transactions were not successful, but they said 'the data showed they were'. LOL!!!! They were not!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to pay cash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then in the following months (April, June, September and November) I keep getting their email saying I owe them money, and the amount changed four times (from 116 EUR to 61 EUR to 63 EUR to 68 EUR). So, from my point of view, the bank basically 'created' the fake debts which I don't owe them and has asked me to pay. They use their so-called 'data' which were incorrect and didn't reflect what really happened, but what could I possibly do to prove that, as they have access and can manipulate the numbers? And even more unfortunately, I don't keep receipts! (But during some of those unsuccessful payments I had friends next to me when the payment failed. I had to pay cash.) The bank made mistakes, and this would have been okay if they acknowledged it. But the fact that it insists on its lies absolutely disgusts me. This is just a brief summary, and the story it actually much longer and more absurd and complicated. I have over 15 emails to provide basis for every word I leave here.

Very very unprofessional. I moved all my accounts years ago except one. It is time for this one to go as well. Worse banking service so far.

Some people say the young Czechs will be different. For these people, just go visit this branch and speak 1 minute with Tomas. I truly feel sorry that such a young person feels so miserable with his life but I have been a very good customer with Unicredit for at least 7-8 years and I deserve better. Thank you, Tomas. When I leave Unicredit your image will be in my mind. I have no idea what has happened inside the company but I would not recommend Unicredit CZ to an enemy and you are a shining example of why.

The worst customer service and attitude towards bank members. The atm froze with my card inside . The staff left me waiting outside in the cold as they opened the bank refusing to give me any helpful information. The woman than continued to scold me for bothering her. Very disappointed. Changing banks.
