Great and detailed advice despite the long queue. That makes you want more bikes! Our advisor (Mr. Weber) has given us lots of good tips and suggestions. Was fun. Here we buy again.

Unfortunately, in my experience, Wöltjen is not recommended. First visit on a Saturday morning and within 30 minutes it was not possible to get hold of a seller. So pulled away without advice or a test drive. Return on Monday afternoon, as we had already liked the bike and the price / performance ratio of the bike was right. After almost 30 minutes we also had a salesperson who, after another 15 minutes of monologue, finally gave us a test drive. Back again, wait again. The seller was in the next customer conversation. Inquiries as to whether the assembly of a stand is conceivable (would you mount a roof box on a Ferrari) and a chain guard (no, we don't do that here) were answered cheekily. We did not feel valued as thoroughly knowledgeable customers. My highlight then was the question of why we wouldn't come in winter, after all, it would be less busy in the shop. We kept listening to annoying comparisons to sports cars instead of getting information about the bike. In the end we bought the bike, but this was certainly not due to the advice but to the bike itself. Addendum: The bike was picked up yesterday and lo and behold: Despite the promise that the gearshift will be set properly (we gave the hint that it did not shift properly after the test ride), the bike had to go straight back to the workshop. Only after the information that the bike was bought yesterday was the error corrected. At first they wanted to put us off until Monday. I have therefore reduced my two star rating to one star.

I come from Bamberg and wanted to explore Lübeck by bike over three days. My chain broke on the first day. Three bike shops rejected me for overloading. At Wöltjen I was given friendly and competent help despite the overload: they sold me a chain lock and I was able to quickly repair the chain myself on site. The bicycle stay in beautiful Lübeck was saved thanks to Wöltjen! Thank you again!
