Very interesting place for people who are interested in being informed about old industrial plants. There are informative guided tours which you have to book as soon as possible. Afterwards I recommend visiting Bergmann brewery right on the other side of the street where you can have a taste of different kinds of good beer in a comfortable atmosphere.
This place has a wonderful scenic view, a beautiful place with a beautiful lake surrounded by beautifully designed German houses and cafes. The best thing is you can go her any time to sit and enjoy, grab a coffee or a pizza with your family and friends even on a Sunday. A must visit place if you are in Dortmund. Nearest U Bahn station is Willem-van-Vloten-Straße, 44263 Dortmund with trains almost every two minutes to this place from the city centre.
