Hm ... If it had been possible after the initial information from the local court, then after applying for a certificate of inheritance in the midst of the so-called Corona crisis, I would have had to wait about four months for the certificate or, alternatively, take a detour via a notary. Without the certificate, if there is no will, no access to the bank account of my father, who unfortunately died in the middle of the maximum Corona period, and thus no possibility to pay for a funeral. Fortunately, a will was found so that I could do without the certificate of inheritance and everything went faster! To expect months of waiting in such cases is pretty blatant. New solutions are definitely needed. The communication (insofar as someone could be reached ......) then went very well so far, and the information (unlike most other authorities) was reliable from the start.

I can not understand the negative experiences. I was given friendly help on the phone and I was able to collect my documents within an hour, even though they had to be retrieved from the archive because they were older than 50 years. This is first class service and clearly means 5 stars it couldn't be better.

Did not get any help from the probate court on request for a questionnaire that the AG sent me. Instead, the employee on the phone was just snappy, repeated several times that he could not help me and if I could not estimate the value of the house on my own (it was also not necessary to get an expert opinion), I should not fill it out. Then it could just be that the inheritance tax becomes more expensive. My other questions about what exactly should be stated in the questionnaire were unfortunately not answered either. Thanks for nothing!
