The good ratings can only come from "Spezl-Wirtschaft". Not understandable. The shop is expensive, the boss is unfriendly and does not take time for the customer. It's good that there is another bike shop in Ampfing.
I can never understand all who write a bad review here. The man may have a lot of work - but precisely because he is top! There is nothing off the shelf here but always special, suitable and high quality.
Real expert when it comes to MTB sport. Meanwhile drive 70km to the store because there is no one around who can keep up professionally.
I can only recommend it.
The advice is absolutely bad. When I asked for advice, I got very rude answers and he didn't take the time at all. 👎🏻
I can (maybe) understand that regular customers are preferred, but the store doesn't make it easy to become a regular customer either ...
Case one: Some time ago I asked for a racing bike for a test ride. All forgiven at the moment, I will be called as soon as one is available, said the boss (?). Well, of course no one has ever contacted me.
Case two: I had an accident with my bike through no fault of my own and wanted a rough estimate for a repair. Well, they wouldn't actually do that, it wouldn't be profitable for the store. The workshop is already full with customer bikes.
Anyway, there is still a shop in Ampfing.
