Small castle on a big hill overlooking the city. Pretty view of the city but a good hike up the hill.

The Alexander Tower in Mainz (Mainz) is a tower of the late medieval city of the fifteenth century. It was built on the foundations of a round tower of the Roman wall of the 4th century. Together with the wooden tower and the iron tower, it is one of the three towers of the city that remain in the wall of the city of Mainz. The Alexander Tower is now located on the private grounds of Kupferberg-Sektkellerei in Kästrich (Mainz) where there is a restaurant. There is parking nearby.
