Reviews
Fortunately I read several reviews before we visited today so I knew our visit would only be about an hour and wasn't expecting a gigantic aquarium. I loved it though. The floor was clearly marked throughout so that it was clear how far apart groups should be. A disinfectant station was available at the entrance and exit as well as a sink just before the gift shop. Overall, my worries about being out during the time of Corona were calmed, and I felt good about threw precautions taken there. In general, there were lots of interesting sea creatures and coral to see so that my family and I alll had a fun experience!
Small and the flow of the people was very slow .. people spent long time watching the fishes and not moving for the people behind. Due to the virus no food or drinks available so eat ahead of time... otherwise great staff and clean place .
Small but nice. They have everything from seahorses to jellyfish, sharks and even a sea turtle. The aquarium glass is clear so you can see all the sea animals very clearly. The big aquarium tank at the end has all the Nemo characters and then some. Take your time as the place is rather small. But overall nice experience for younger kids.
Approximately an hour from residence. Easy to find with GPS, parking was immediately adjacent. Aquarium was under covid-19 rules and thus visitors were sparse. Easy movement through facility, no bunching up. Some "hands on" experiences were suspended (hand sanitizer and sea-life do not go well together) but the remainder of the aquarium had good displays, dual language signs, I THINK that I saw qrc codes, and stamp stations for the kids. Made it through aquarium slowly and easily with 2.5 and 4 year old kids. Took about an hour total. Big, wide stroller was an OK idea and fit everywhere with little effort. Staff was attentive to visitors and offered information when asked. Was a little expensive for the hour we spent there (€45?), but the kids enjoyed it and that was the point of going.
Totally okay, but be aware of the "Pfalz card" what offers free entry.
