Alster Fountains

Great View, in and around the alster. Especially using a boat or ISUP. If the weather plays along, the views can be really beautiful.

One of the few clean places in Hamburg. Nice for morning or afternoon walks.

Great place to relax in sun. There are some nice steps to sit and have beer too. If you walk along the lake you'll find some green patches to sit as well.

The Fountain is spectacular at bursting sunshine when with the right angle you can see a rainbow. Otherwise it's - in my opinion - a huge waste of energy. In one hour the pump uses the power a 4 person household demands in a whole week. If they promised you ponies, don't be sad. Enjoy the weather and fresh air on the benches.
