Always a great day to see these huge birds

The stork barn is, if I understand correctly, the sick and nursing station of Aktion PfalzStorch. Sick and especially injured storks are nursed up here so that they can live in freedom again in the future. My full respect is due to this project. It is less about what you can see and how you like it or not. Rather, it is about species-appropriate care. 5 stars for this initiative, and I was happy to let a few euros roll down the donation tube. Just across the street is the Lehrer Lämpel inn, where you can eat very well.

Animal cruelty. Something like that must not exist! The animals need a lot of air space, but they live in a small cage. This is really underground. Shame on you if you support something like that!

Before you write a review about this wonderful project, you should do some research beforehand. I relate this sentence to the incredibly stupid and thoughtless review of a certain Kamil P.! 👎👎😩😩 The animals kept here are usually injured (unable to fly) or sick. They are cared for until they are fit and then released. This is an action that can only be praised. We hope that this association will continue to do so remains committed! 👍👍😃😃 Great!

Years ago there were people here who had the idea to build this "stork rescue station". (Palatinate stork) Injured / or sick storks are "nursed" here. At the time of our visit, there were 14 storks in the station. When the animals are fit again, they can / may leave the station in the wild. A wonderful idea, we think
