Tiger - Garden Waldeck e.V.

I can't say enough good things about this place. Its secluded which is really nice and refreshing. The scenery is beautiful. It over looks the river, town, and vineyards. You get to eat and enjoy the sounds of Tigers and peacocks. They have a nice little playground for kids. The food was INCREDIBLE. Everyone had a really good time. I highly recommend if you are wanting to have a nice family evening dining out.

Great view and great attraction for kids! Food was great and came quick, but the check took some time. Will come back.

Cute! Wish the tigers had more space but the owners seem lovely to them.

We arrived there one saturday 20 minutes before the official hour of closing. We had one kid who wanted to see the tigers (you could not see them at all from outside). There is no ticket counter, had to go inside the hotel. The lady told us she will have to ask if they will still let the boy in. Took 10 minutes just to ask... The official keeper delayed showing up till 5 minuted before closing, closed the gates and called crazy for wanting to visit so late (it literally takes 5 minutes or less the visit since you can only pay to walk around the tigers cage). This was second time we wated to visit. One year ago we went all in the morning, one goat came very close to the fence. The kids found it cute and wanted to take a picture in with the goat in the background. Same keeper started yelling that you cannot take pictures without buying the food first. Kids were even scared to aproach the fence, and did not want to visit anymore. They are very rude, especially if you do not speak german very well. The view from the tower however (is free to visit) are very beautiful! Tiger garden is still no worth to visit!

Quite a strange place, to be honest... So this is a restaurant and a hotel that has a cage with tigers. You can watch them from 4 meters free of charge, but that's basically all you can do there unless you're hungry or need a room) However, the views are excellent, Bismark tower is also here and the playground kind offsets the feeling of disappointment
