Needed some help on tyre valves as I was dealing with some that I’d never seen before. We didn’t have the bikes at the tyres were completely flat. We managed to get to the shop just before they closed and the guy in there was really helpful. Explained to me the different pump/ how to change it to fit right valve. The different valves and how to fix and pump up. Now I know is really simple!! He spoke in English for me too which helped! A very friendly and helpful guy. Thanks

Extremely disappointing experience. I had initially visited the shop a couple of times to buy small things, the staff seemed very nice. Trying to support local businesses, I even bought a pair of tires (at more than online/chain-store price) at this shop. Having asked if they would mount it, the staff said 'yes, sure'. I hadn't asked if the tire-mounting was a paid service, having assumed it was part of the service (given that I also bought the tires at the same shop). I only later realised I was charged 30Eu extra for the mounting of two tires. I returned to the shop and asked the owner why I was not been informed beforehand that tire-mounting was a paid service - and told him that I felt unfairly treated as a customer. My tone was explicitly non-confrontative + I never said I wanted the money back. (I was fully aware that tire mounting is charged in some shops, but it's not a universal practice by any means). In response to my statement, the owner refused to have a grounded conversation and flew into a series of condescending, insulting, and preachy statements about how 'service costs money', and about how this is a 'petty' amount for the service that has been provided - and even walked off without trying to resolve or explain my issue. Will not be going there again, and wouldn't personally recommend it either.
