We were on an afternoon out exploring the German Wine Road (Deutsche Weinstraße), and we happened by Ökonomierat Isler. We enjoy places where you can relax outside, enjoy a glass of wine, get something simple to eat, and then take in the view. Ökonomierat Isler did not disappoint us in the least with their open patio, and view of the vineyards. What a great time. We shared our table with some visitors from Mannheim out to enjoy the day like us which made our experience even better. Nothing like sharing a glass of wine with new found friends. Update: Revisited this great winery and thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

You only get 2 stars from me for the following reasons: No contact details are requested. Guests bring their own tables and chairs, which are passed under the ropes. You bypass the entry control via the terrace so that you can get your order quickly and without much inquiries. Someone can stand at the entrance for a long time and say we don't have any more space. Not all rejected people care. Because I can get to the property via the exit. Please pay more attention to it in the future.
Otherwise friendly service and great atmosphere. 👍👍
We went by bike and stopped there and ate very well. Very good wines, nice service and a fantastic view of the vineyards. Will definitely return there next year.
