I bought a bike 5 days ago on your site and haven't been able to get a hold of anyone to get status of purchase. I'm considering cancelling the order if I don't hear something soon.

Bought a bike 3 days ago from the website. I payed with Paypal and today I recieved the full refund on my Paypal acoount. The bike I ordered is still available on the website... Most likely the website is not updated.

After a lesser experience with a damaged stem, cycletec replaced it under warranty. The communication in English seems somewhat difficult at times.

After ordering online including payment of the purchase price (four-digit) via PayPal, I received the following succinct message one day later: "Dear Mr. Ronald R., The status of your order from ..., with order number 40 ... has been changed. Notes and comments about your order: Sorry, sold out. New status: Canceled If you have any questions about your order, please reply to this email. " The effect on me as a potential customer? ... of course ... In bicycle sales, too, there are other times and maybe here and there the old insight: Right to exist = willingness to buy own (satisfied) customers.

After 10 calls over 3 days and a written request to call you back using the form provided on the page, I gave it up and bought my bike elsewhere. The prices on the website are great, but buying a bike from a site that doesn't answer any calls is too risky for me personally. I cannot judge what the service looks like on site, but in my opinion a shop that runs such a large online shop must also be available for customers who do not have the opportunity to speak to the dealer on site.
