Very friendly. Courteous and fair prices. Very competent and always ready to answer questions. Today you won a new customer.

In retrospect, the bike was simply too expensive. After a year it is practically broken at every corner and end. The lock that was sold to me also crumbled after a year. The advice wasn't a hit either. I even went elsewhere for inspection. I no longer trust the store.

CONSULTATION: # EXCELLENT # DETAILED # Technical explanations easy to understand even for an e-bike "beginner" # very FAIRE prices! # TEST DRIVE: could be carried out very unconventionally # PURCHASE of 2 used bicycles = excellent course (!!!) CONCLUSION: The cooperation with the LOCAL specialist trade is a "PERFECT ACTION"! ... Why go abroad (or online)? See, the good is so close ... both the owner, Mr. Häfner, and the employee, Mr. Jaeger, convince with a friendly approach to the customers combined with factual helpfulness! 5 STAR PREMIUM

Here you wait a long time, only to be left to your own devices. The chain and cassette from Shimano on my branded e-MTB from Haibike were worn out. That's why I went to Häfner in May to have a repair carried out. I was offered to leave the bike there, but then it could take several weeks to get it back, or to make an appointment, then I would only have to go without my bike for 2-3 days. Since my bike was basically still roadworthy, I asked for an appointment. I was offered an appointment in July, two months later. Of course, I wasn't too happy about that, but I said yes. With the corona-related increased interest in cycling, all bicycle workshops are probably busy. Finally the appointment came and I brought my bike for repair. The next day I received a call that there were problems with the repair. The freewheel of the rear wheel was damaged and a new rear wheel had to be installed. I asked about the price. Mr. Häfner told me that he couldn't get the bike because an e-bike is a different type of vehicle than a simple bicycle. I should contact the manufacturer myself and get a bike. This is incomprehensible to the extent that all components of this bicycle come from renowned manufacturers (DT Swiss) and are clearly marked with type numbers. The manufacturer also only supplies spare parts to dealers on request. After asking for the type designations and then researching the Internet, I quickly came across some offers. There, based on the technical data as well as the existing pictures, identical bikes were offered with my rear wheel. With this result, I then called Häfner again. However, Mr. Häfner expressed concern that he would not install any spare parts without “approval by the manufacturer”. I pointed out that I had found the identical parts on the Internet and could order them myself and asked him to take a quick look at the offer to make sure that it really was the right bike. He agreed. I sent an email with photos, technical data and the link to the shop. After 3 hours I called again to ask if he had looked at my email in the meantime. He said he couldn't do that in between, maybe in the afternoon or the next morning. I showed understanding and asked for feedback as soon as he saw the mail. There was no recall either in the afternoon or the following morning. Then I ordered the rear wheel and special tools myself on the Internet and got the bike from the workshop. I will now do the repair myself. All in all, I am very disappointed. I understand that there is a lot to do at the moment. But if I have to wait 2 months for an appointment and then it's finally my turn, then I also expect that I will be looked after properly and quickly. I can expect from a specialist workshop that they are able to get spare parts for a branded bike where all components are clearly marked. Here, however, the fear of eBikes and possible recourse claims seems to be greater than the willingness to deliver a sensible service. Too bad. Update: Even better: After doing a little research on the Internet, I found out that the damaged freewheel body can be easily replaced without replacing the entire rear wheel. Effort after removing the cassette: one minute. Costs: 39 EUR instead of at least 120 EUR for a new rear wheel. It shows again: There is a lack of specialist knowledge or motivation here.

You don't have to drive here to sell your old bike, even if it is fully functional. For my Gazelle men's bike with a well-groomed Brooks saddle, I was offered 20 euros. I preferred to put it on eBay classified ads and get 250.
