Promenade Alter Hafen

Excellent Maritime museum with beautifull boats and ships on the wharf and old docks. A lovely "Hydrofin" vessel, sailing ships, an early design "Voith-Schnider" Tug, and a "Steam Tug" flating in the dock. Great assett for the maritime city of Bremerhaven.

Due to the many maritime exhibits and the museum ships in the port, it was designed to be interesting and somehow something for everyone with or in the immediate vicinity to make a stay there pleasant ... Playground, green areas, benches, access to the Weser dike, gastronomy ...

Nice walk and that in the harbor - unfortunately the museum ships are not in good condition - it is obvious that no money is spent on maintenance here

Highly Recommended. Here are some great ships and ship accessories, which is very interesting. A nice walk along the promenade is not only fun, but is also very instructive. There are plenty of seating areas where you can relax and enjoy yourself.

It's a shame what happened to the ships in the old port. The museum seems to have no money for maintenance. really a mourning game the state of the museum fleet.
