In October 2020, I bring my 2011 Kalkoff bike to OVELO (representing the brand) Chambéry for a check-up on my electrical assistant, which no longer worked. 24 hours after leaving it, OVELO called me and told me I had to change the engine. Cost 700 euros parts and MO. While going to look for my bike I asked if he had checked and tested the engine. Answer: There is no time to spend for that! Weird! So, I take my bike back and decide on a second opinion with another known repairer in St Alban de Leysse. Result: Chain put back in place, resulting in loss of assistance on the engine pinion. Cost: 18 euros and my bike works (see invoice). So: Either OVELO are incompetent and you have to go and sell cabbage and carrots, or they are crooks.

Having had a brake caliper problem that broke on a cube brand bike still guaranteed !!! The ovelo company, which claims to be a specialist and serious in electric bikes, does not want to take responsibility for repairs under any circumstances while the bike is still guaranteed !!! To flee, thief, not serious !!!!

Not serious. To avoid. Order placed on 05/25. After multiple chat and promises of interlocutors, the order is still at the store not shipped (We are on 06/15). Chambéry store unreachable by phone. No apologies or proposed commercial gesture ... I do not advise.

Very nice team, they found me a solution for the brake lever of my Ebike. They have an impressive selection of electric bikes.
