The station is small and has barely any stairs making it easy to navigate. Make sure you get the correct ticket, otherwise you will have to pay a fine. T+ TICKETS ARE NOT VALID HERE. If you have a Paris Visite ticket, make sure you have the necessary zones. The station is in zone 4.

One of the three main train hubs leading into Paris from Versailles and the one you're most likely to come through if you're visiting as a tourist for the day. The station itself is fairly clean and has a small shop inside along with some vending machines. The RER C line that serves this station generally departs every 15-20 minutes and during the week it's generally ok. However, for what feels like 3 years now, every weekend without fail there's some sort of maintenance work going on on the line so check your journey in advance to see what connections you will need to make.

DO NOT USE SODA/SNACK VENDING MACHINES. The Selecta vending machines have severe issues and will charge you without dispensing any items. Please be aware of this. Order one item at a time instead of multiple items.

35 euro FINE!!! So I took the train to versaille from Paris. I even asked someone who works at the station in Paris about the tickets and the route before leaving. He didn't mention at all about the difference in ticket. I ended up paying the fine- 35 euros. The officer called me stupid and that I'm young so i should have naturally known about these things. "You have your phone, non?" Told me may be it's my English? That I didn't understand really understand what they were saying. That it is my fault for not researching it properly. They even asked me if I spoke English as I was speaking it! I asked 3 different ticketing officers- how much more research was I supposed to do exactly? Utterly incompetent.

Staff is fast to sell tickets and I can get on the train on time. Some enter machine is broken...
