Gare de Montpellier Sud de France

The new gare is big, nice and .... empty. Hahaha There is much fewer traffic here. So it's quite nice for people who hate the crowded old station. But it's more or less further from city centre so you will need more time to go to and from here. Anyway, I got lucky and arrived at the station during a very nice sunset.

Convenient. There is shuttle bus right outside every 10 minutes with 1.6eur, going to place de france tram line 1.

Cheap shuttle service from the station to the Place de la France. Also a heated waiting room and a lot of power plugs. I liked most the public piano where a lot of music came from while I was waiting for my train.

Mystical place. An other world !

In the middle of nowhere... Take care about transportation to join the city center. No rental car, no Tramway...
