Château de Rambouillet

Beautiful location. We walked through the grounds and enjoyed the well maintained features. It's so nice that it's right near the town centre. We will return once the château is open so we can look around inside.

The inside of the chateau that can be visited includes a rather small amount of rooms. In the garden you can rent a cart or boat. In the rooms some information in English would be nice.

The town is very nice and the chateau is very well kept. The grounds are nice.

Small bijou of a chateau with some lovely rococo design and a beautiful bathroom....interesting facts about various inhabitants and its uses over the years including Napoleon and more recently the first G6 meeting. Unfortunately, the information notices (in French and English) are poorly lit but the visit is sufficiently short for this not to be a major issue.

The castle is no longer a residence of President, it’s only a museum. Very nice and cozy , not big, with beautiful interiors. Interesting combination of an old fortress , which you still can see, and new extension of the castle. It is surrounded by big park and pond. The tickets cost 7,5€ and currently available only online. Don’t forget to take a boat or a bike for a great walk in the park ! 15 euros per hour worth it!!!!
