Gare de Thomery

Worst station I have ever seen in my life, even deep in Texas there can't be any like this. Not content with finding civilization after a hike, it is a set of horror film that awaits us. The station is hermetically sealed and there is no vending machine for drinks, not even a tap coming out of somewhere nothing, nada. Not a living soul, the city is two kilometers away so you have plenty of time to die while waiting for one of those famous trains that only pass once every hour.

This station is a very important place for me! I met my husband at this station in 2005 :)

Only trains to and from Montargis stop there: 1 train per hour. Free parking but often full Big flat: the station is about 2km from the city and is not served by public transport

A very calm little stop! Ideal for a walk in the forest of Fontainebleau!

Station located 1.6 or 1.8 kilometers from the city in question depending on the direction taken, not served by public transport and which absolutely requires a vehicle in the morning and in the evening since there is absolutely no lighting in forest. Despite the recent development of the station with finally an underground passage, suitable for people with reduced mobility (quite rare in the region, it should be emphasized), the station lacks an SNCF service: the only terminal is constantly unusable (IT problem , out of service etc.) and has no agent at all. Fortunately, parking is free.
