Worst banking customer service
The customer service received was second to none. I had a complex query regarding a savings account which was resolved quickly by staff at the branch. Unfortunately I had to go in because call centre staff were not able to resolve the issue and lacked the flexibility and know how to do so, so I’d always go into branch.
Doesnt use the word "please"
£5 notes always available from the third machine on the right! One less star because sadly the cash machines are still frequently vandalized but always immediately made safe and returned to service. Inside, surprisingly rarely busy, staff for once I have no complaints about, and because I was always helped despite not holding a account (I visited to pay in and get insurance quotes) I consider this a unusually good bank branch.
Absolutely useless. I called for the appointment one week ago, was on the phone for 20 minutes to set it up, due to ‘high volume of calls’. Manage to get one this morning, so I woke up early on my only day off, waited there for 30 minutes (of course there was a delay) and advisor that was pre-booked only spoken to me for 3 MINUTES ! He just told me that he can’t help me 🤦🏼♀️what is this costumer service.... he didn’t advice me anything, didn’t even say ‘thank you for waiting’. Absolutely USELESS and very unprofessional! Will definitely consider changing my bank because HSBC is a joke ....
