If you are a young customer they treat you like a full. Zero customer service and empathy. After this I will definitely change my account no another bank

Terrible customer service. My card stopped working and I had to come to show my id. Each time I came they asked for other documents. I am standing here listening to the cashier say that I wasn’t able to answer the security questions online, which is BS. He referred to me as a “person”. The other cashier, a woman, asks me if “I am ok”. Of course I am not. The guy made me waste 1 hour today because he didn’t understand that the fraud department had to have me on the phone in front of the cashier. He only made notes in my account on the computer and that wasn’t the main requirement. Really bad

I attended the bank today and did not have to wait in a queue. It was a Saturday and judging by some of the comments below, it would lead me to believe that weekdays are far busier. The woman who served me was very helpful and did not ask me any silly questions. No one forced me to use one of the machines. In some branches, some members of staff actually ask what you want and in some cases, show you to a machine. If I wanted to use a machine, I would do so. I apologise for sounding curt, but the service I received today was excellent and I prefer to interact with an actual person as opposed to a machine.

poor customer service, needs more counter staff. Do not find staff helpful. wanted to put some funds in a friends NatWest Account. was told i would have to go to Natwest or put the funds in my account then transfer - which is ok. i asked where the closest NatWest was - The counter assistant told me Slough High Street, 2 miles away, HOWEVER, later I found out the closest NatWest was AROUND the corner from Barclays in the shopping complex - i could not believe this staff member did not know or see it, surly they would of gone to lunch there or see it on the way to work.
