Used the pay in machine today at the Burnley HSBC Branch 01/12/20 @ 13:09pm however the machine had an issue which resulted in someone coming over to empty the cash that was deposited. At the counter the cashier made the deposit after counting the money and I left. An hour later I get notifications for reversals and I am short of £20.00
I counted the money before I went into the bank several times which I dialled into my phone so I know the amount was correct.
This needs to be investigated and will be making a formal complaint also in writing.
Absolutely shocking service from Branch, utterly poor customer service we have banked with First Direct for over 12 years and have never had any issues. This is my first time having to go into branch to post a cheque and the attitude from staff as I arrived at the door as it was closing as 13:54 not 2:00 was being spoken to through the glass by a lady who stood there rolled her eyes pointed to the sign and simply said 'closed'. Total let Down by this HSBC branch, staff need better training in how to deal with customers.

Never really liked this bank found staff a little abrupt and rude at most branches i went to i decided to go with another bank
Can't access any services at weekend - only time I could visit to make a cash deposit. Told not possible on a saturday morning...
