This place has improved no end since they got rid of that girl who used to pretend to have laryngitis and so on for the purpose of taking the mick out of the customers. Hopefully they sacked her. Now it's just an average sort of bank, no better or worse than any other.
Very disappointed with Santander. My mother who walks with a stick uses the bank on a Saturday as it’s the only day I can take her whilst they are open. . The one she used that we could park outside closed a while ago. We’ve been driving to Nelson since it closed only to find this morning that it was now closed on a Saturday. The one in Burnley is in the precinct so more difficult to park. Any one know a high street bank that puts elderly customers first??
I am a customer of Santander, I had my card in sight when I went to the cashier at the Nelson branch. I asked the cashier for change of a £20 pound note, £10, £5 and 5 x £1 coins, The cashier looked in her float and said I don't have any £1 coins, the other cashier said something to her then she said to me "he doesn't either" - I was just about to say.very loudly "A bank that doesn't have any pound coins!" then the other cashier passed her a bag of pound coins, then she reluctantly gave me the change I asked for.
Absolutely disgusting service!
Really, A bank that doesn't have any pound coins! I can't believe she had the audacity to say that to me.

Lovely newly refurbished bank, staff are always friendly and extremely helpful.
