I popped into this branch at lunchtime. It was quite busy but I was served quite quickly. They do have machines where you can do some of the services if you don't want to queue. Personally I always like to see a member of staff. I found the staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend a visit.
Santander bank cards dont work well, pin they gave worked at the counter but not at the atm, showed it as invalid though it was accepted at the counters, one pin wasnt even sent out. Spent 2 hours and ended up with having to send new pins for both cards which estimated to take 7 days. Really bad first week experience in the uk. Their system lacks credibility. Not really the staffs fault, they couldnt do much about it.
You are told to put your card into a reader at the counter, then your transactions are processed, after which comes the financial
services push, it can be frustrating waiting for them to release your card when you're in a hurry.
