Always go here for pool which is always lovely and at a reasonable price, main issue is that the machines they have break very regularly and that you therefore sometimes have to wait.
Apart from that the staff are knowledgeable and helpful.
Bowling at great price, with good alleys and a vast selection of balls available. Lots of fun, with deals always on. The food here is okay, but don’t expect 5 star quality. The staff are very helpful, despite there rarely being many issues with the lanes. The pool tables are okay, when they’re working. There is a play area for younger kids, that they seem to thoroughly enjoy. No payment required to rent the shoes, and always a good selection of music. There is a £5 minimum spend for card payments, which can be an annoyance.
All in all, a great fun place to go
We had a great time
Not my favourite place, very loud and noisy atmosphere, not particularly clean (lots of used drinks cups and rubbish in bowling areas). Staff not particularly friendly or keen to help. Booked online which was fine but then they tried to charge us again when we arrived saying that we hadn't paid, produced online receipt to prove we had paid and they reluctantly accepted this. Won't be in any hurry to return.
It all started when they said we are going to need 1 shoe off you because they hadn't got the room for the other one. I also appreciate that people come in from shopping to use their toilets but the lock and key code idea is joke when your not told.
Doesn't make you feel welcome.
Happy to take your money, but look after your own shoe and you need a code to use the w/c.
Bowling lane went wrong at least 6 times. Not saying you won't have a good time but if your going with a group of young kids for a birthday these things are a pain.
