nimbl has been a great way to teach my children about handling their allowance. They are able to make choices about saving up or buying ‘things’ and I genuinely believe it has taught them the value of money rather than expecting Mum and Dad to pay for whatever they want. It has also taught them about being responsible for their card although the ‘lock card’ option is a nice feature if required. Spending controls give me (as a parent) peace of mind and I know every pound is now carefully spent! The gifting option is great too. It’s an exciting way to receive money.

nimbl is a great platform and product for children and parents. My stepson's spending has become far more conscious since he was given the card and being able to see where and how much he is spending is very helpful. It also means he doesn't get caught short when out and about without us! I like the savings function too which he is using more and more as his taste in clothes and trainers becomes more expensive! The customer services team are very helpful and responsive and the product interface is really easy to use.

A useful card for younger children with handy tools for controlling how much & where they can spend their cash. Especially useful these days now a lot of purchases are made online & your kids can learn how to spend their cash without the risk of being scammed or losing too much control. You will have to individually justify whether the small but constant fee is worth this ability because otherwise it has no advantages over a std account - no interest paid on balance or "savings" - no incentives or benefits offered for accounts & most kids bank accounts are free.... If you need to control their spending & they need the help it's great but for older "kids" who don't need their hand held you may be better with a normal bank account.

Great card. I got this for my son so that he could start using his own card and being responsible for his own money. He loves being able to use his card to tap to pay contactless and i get an instant notification when he has used his card. App very easy to use. He also has an app on his phone so that he can check his balance.

My daughter loves this App and card. It gives her as a teenager responsibility and freedom but gives me as a parent piece of mind. For the time my daughter ran out of money when I was not there, the ease just to top her up and know she was safe to get the bus home. Great service.
