Cliveden House is beautiful! We went for a festive afternoon tea (their standard tea plus mulled wine and mince pies) and it was delicious! The view of the grounds from our table was beautiful and the service was excellent. It is a little dear (£50 a head) but you definitely get what you pay for. Will definitely be going back but with a pair of walking boots in the car to change into for a more comfortable long walk around the grounds.
Always a wonderful walk, kids love it, adults love it, just bring your own coffee if you're fussy like me!
Food and service good , not so good that you have to pay 10.00 per person to the national trust even if you are just visiting the house

Have afternoon tea for our anniversary, great service, great food and a beautiful place
