I fell in love with this wonderful place. It is a breath of fresh air. I loved the art and hand made figurines from aboriginal people. Amazing.♥️
Nice large sites, lots of trees. Most events were canceled due to covid at this location though. Other KOAs still have modified events every day. Pool was nice and always available. Free mini putt. Peddle bike rentals are a hit with the kids. Lots of work being done to upgrade and expand this KOA so that's good too! Most expensive wood I've ever seen though...$14/bundle! (About 8-10 pieces).. overall great time!
Nice place, well kept. They delivered wood and picked up garbage right at our site. Very friendly staff. One of the bathrooms had water on the ground for 4 days, just used a different bathroom. Campground overall was VERY quiet. Site was clean. Would like to see more tree on the sites.
Had a rough week ; as new folks camping & driving an RV was pretty new so you can very well imagine experiencing a death wobble on 403 and then driving 4 hours on the shoulder of a road with alarms beeping away we were pretty stressed out n exhausted ! So happy we made it here . Everyone was warm n welcoming , so much to do for our grandson who was kept busy with rocket building , wagon rides , foam machine , bouncing pillow and plenty of fun loving kids to play with . Our services were superb and the staff was second to none . Love love loved it here ! Thank you for navigating us to safety over the phone , waiving cancellation fees if we needed and making sure we felt warm n welcomed almost as nice as coming home .
We traveled to this park August 2020 and thought the park itself was clean and very well maintained. We had 2 young children with us (ages 3&6). There are great biking trails nearby which we enjoyed and the pool was decent. Where this park lacks is children's activities. Their bounce pad was closed due to "COVID" but this is the 3rd KOA we've stayed at this pandemic, and the only one that didn't have the pad opened. There is virtually zero playground for the kids either. A few swings for the kids (with one swing broken in half), seesaw's and a structure that had almost no play value. Disappointing as we had just been to Ivy Lea and Brighton where their playgrounds are a wonderland. I think this park has 5* potential but it wasn't a family vibe like we are accustomed to with KOA's.
