Supetar is the capital of the island of Brač. There is a tourist information point close to the port where ferries from Split leave. There you will find a lot of leaflets and maps informing about local attractions and accommodation. I recommend it as enchanted by the islands. The staff was very helpful!

Let me add - when we asked about the Blace desert, they did not warn us that 8 km of bad macadam leads on the beginning of the hiking trail, where car tires are punctured every day, and to consider whether we want that risk or to rent a quard for driving. When asked if there was a guide in the convent, they weren't quite sure, they thought there was. If you don't know that, and you work in a tourist company, what do you get paid for? Horror, they should be abolished, they serve no purpose.
