The remotest tiny Island is very beautiful & Landscape on sea side is amazing for photos, can go from Minicoy resort by boat or if u know swimming can go by swim during low tide.

Beautiful uninhabited Islet off Minicoy coast. Southern most point of the Lakshadweep Islands marked by a pillar with the Indian emblem. It's used to be the place were lepers were banished in old times. Now it's shrub covered Islet and good picnic spot. It's quiet a swim from the Minicoy Island to the islet. The currents are heavy in high tide. If you are a good snorkler or swimmer, plan your to and fro swim in the low tide hours or you are sure to be exhausted and will be carried by the current into the lagoon or sea. Islet is also accessible by small boat. Non swimmers or slow swimmers do not try to be heroic. The water level is knee deep in low tide and increase drastically in the high tide. Have a local keep an eye on you at all times.
