It's a beautiful tour destination if you stay for three four days. Don't miss the scuba diving facility available there to enjoy the coral wealth of Lakshadweep islands.

This state-owned and managed resort is sold at very high prices (similar to those of Maldivian resorts) and could be a real earthly paradise but ..... it is a real crap that touches the scam. When we arrived the first impression was as if we had landed on an island after the third world war. The property is semi abandoned, destroyed with the semi bungalows and / or crumbling. Everywhere, alongside the paths, the bungalows, the beach etc. there is, abandoned for a long time, filthiness, broken objects and furniture to be scrapped. Some bungalows and other structures are filled with this massed and prominent stuff through the dirty windows. The restaurant, if you can call it that, is so dirty and dreary that I find it difficult to describe it (window panes dull from dirt, plates in the bathroom, urine stagnant in the toilet, etc.). Everything is managed by personnel with zero professional knowledge but very friendly (only positive aspect along with the food that was good though with little choice). The price is a real robbery, a scandal. Besides, for any use of material or tool an extra payment is required. One morning we rented two bikes and cycled all over the island to the other extreme point. From the beginning to the end we saw garbage left everywhere: the edges of the road, between the huts and homes, and on the beach under palm trees. In short, the sense that plastic, glass and aluminum can be dirt is completely absent nor that such materials can be recycled. We had to wait two days before we could escape this situation because the boat arrives and leaves only three times a week. Hoping to find a resort worthy of the name we went to Bangaram, another tourist island, knowing that the only island resort in prices was even more exorbitant !!!
