Visted the NRI section. The bank and staff are good but the policies are poor. To reset an ATM pin is very complicated. Especially if you're joint account holders. Both members need to be present. Also you need proof of address in India even though you live in the UK. I provided proof of address for UK but that was not acceptable.

It was best when SBI take over all thebanks and merge as a SBI branch. Its too convenient for staff and customers to handle and give better serivce.nBut now it was permanently closed from three months.nSo customer have too wait in a queue for any paper work or deposit in the Main Branch Jalandhar from atleast 2 hour. Customers are waste their time for a queue. After some time, they said system is not working it takes also 2-3hours delay.
